PANDION THE HAUS makes it onto the shortlist

January 2018

It is seen by some as the real-estate industry’s “Oscar”: the “immobilienmanager Award” from the publishers of the same name, that has honoured outstanding real-estate projects in various categories since 2009. The jury, made up of highly respected experts from the industry, has now announced the shortlist for the eleven categories. And PANDION AG was delighted to see its name in the category communication for its project “PANDION THE HAUS”. Just which of the three nominees will actually receive the coveted award at the end of the day will be announced at the awards ceremony in Cologne on 1 March.

The unusual project had already received the “Immobilien-Marketing-Award” of Nuertingen-Geislingen University back in 2017. For “THE HAUS”, PANDION temporarily provided a former bank building for use by artists for a few months. Around 175 artists turned the site into the world’s biggest urban art gallery, which was then visited by a total of 80,000 people and attracted a huge response in international media. The building and exhibition have now disappeared, making space for the nine-storey residential building that goes by the name of “PANDION THE HAUS”.
