Charity appeal: PANDION RACING team cycling for a good cause

July 2019

The Nürburgring is one of the world’s most spectacular race circuits, its 26 kilometre track winds through the gently rolling Eifel landscape and includes the notorious Nordschleife. The ups and downs of this demanding circuit will be a challenge for the eight cyclists from the PANDION Racing team in 2019: they will be climbing onto their saddles for the 24-hour race during the “Rad am Ring” (Bike at the Ring) event from 27 to 28 July – and doing good with every circuit they complete.

Because the team is not only braving the “Green Hell” out of sportsmanlike ambition but also out of a social responsibility. And even if you don’t feel like climbing onto a bike yourself, you can still help out: we would like to ask all of our friends, employees and business partners to do their bit too for a good cause – and donate a certain mount for every completed circuit.

And to increase the motivation for sponsors and athletes alike, PANDION will double the amount donated. The total receipts will benefit the knodel foundation – for example in projects to combat labour slavery and to protect minors against forced prostitution in India as well as against human trafficking in Romania.
